This is the largest collection in Switzerland of this type of pottery which has so far not undergone any detailed scientific analysis.<\/p>\n<p>Other parts of the collection bear witness to the late phase of the Wanzenried Manufactory under <a href=\"https:\/\/ceramica-ch.ch\/katalog\/#fq=museum%3A%22Thun%2C%20Stiftung%20Schloss%20Thun%22&amp;fq=hersteller-werkstatt%3A%22Lengacher%2C%20Emil%2C%20Manufaktur%22&amp;q=*%3A*\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Emil Lengacher (1912-1914)<\/a> and the work of its most important painter, <a href=\"https:\/\/ceramica-ch.ch\/katalog\/#fq=_fulltext_%3A%22Friedrich%20Ernst%20Frank%22&amp;fq=museum%3A&quot;Thun%2C%20Stiftung%20Schloss%20Thun&quot;&amp;q=*%3A*\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Friedrich Ernst Frank (1862-1920)<\/a>; they also include objects dating from the first half of the 20<sup>th<\/sup> century (<a href=\"https:\/\/ceramica-ch.ch\/katalog\/#fq=museum%3A%22Thun%2C%20Stiftung%20Schloss%20Thun%22&amp;fq=hersteller-werkstatt%3A%22Desa%20AG%2C%20Kunstt%C3%B6pferei%22&amp;q=*%3A*\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Desa<\/a>).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Data entry of the Thun Castle Foundation collection was completed today.
