Cette collection sans pareil comprend environ 800 c\u00e9ramiques couvrant toute la p\u00e9riode de production de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00ab Luzerner Keramik\/Luzerner Kunstkeramik AG (C\u00e9ramiques lucernoises\/C\u00e9ramiques d\u2019art lucernoises SA) \u00bb. Emil Loder, qui, d\u00e8s 1918, avait dirig\u00e9 avec Adolph Schweizer la manufacture Wanzenried \u00e0 Steffisbourg, canton de Berne, acheta en 1924 les biens immobiliers d\u2019une poterie situ\u00e9e au num\u00e9ro 30 de la rue Maihof \u00e0 Lucerne et s\u2019y installa.
