In the 20th century, high-quality 18th and early 19th-century Langnau pottery continued to fascinate customers and producers throughout the Canton of Bern. It was no accident that the “Old Langnau” style ultimately experienced a revival, to which the Kunstkeramik Luzern also made its contribution. Numerous sketches of “Old Langnau” designs attest to this (today in the Kunstkeramik Luzern company archive at the State Archive of Lucerne, PA 1421/PLA 202).
