Openwork decoration in CERAMICA CH
Andreas Heege, 2023
Openwork decoration was usually created by cutting regular patterns out of the vessel wall. Using modern ceramic technology, the same effect can be produced by casting an object. Openwork decoration should not be confused with basket weave, although both techniques produce a visually similar effect.
